MeloYelo Two Year Limited Warranty
For their original purchaser, MeloYelo electric bikes come with a 2 year warranty on the battery, motor, controller and torque sensor, a 6 year warranty on the frame, and a 12 month warranty on other parts. Warranties must be filled out no later than 90 days from the date of purchase, or the warranty may be void. This warranty is subject to the bike having been used in a standard and controlled manner. It does not apply to the tyres or brakes.
If a defective part is found during the warranty period and the customer notifies us immediately, the seller will repair or replace the part based on its sole discretion. This warranty will be void if any repair or change is performed by any third party aside from an authorised Associate or service centre.
It is expressly agreed that this warranty applies only to the cost of repair or replacement of the product and its accessories and the seller is not liable for any financial loss and/or prevention of profit and/or any consequential loss that may be caused by non-standard usage of the product. MeloYelo is not responsible for any liability that may occur which could possibly apply to the product and/or its user due to the usage of the product and the customer alone is responsible for third party insurance and/or other insurance required. The seller is not responsible for any possible damage including bodily harm and damage to property. The warranty does not apply if any part of the product is damaged as a result of negligence, an accident, or inadequate maintenance.
All claims under this warranty must be made through an authorized MeloYelo Associate and must include printed or digital photographs (JPEG or PDF format) illustrating the problem along with the required claim information.

VENTURE SCOOTERS WARRANTY INFORMATION
One-Year Limited Warranty
For one year from the date of purchase,Venture Scooters will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any part of electronic component found upon examination by Venture Scooters or an authorized representative of Venture Scooters to be defective in material and/or workmanship. The battery is warranted by the battery manufacturer, the battery is not warranted by Venture Scooters. Venture Scooters warranty service can be performed by Venture Scooters or by an authorized Venture Scooters Agent. Do not return faulty parts to Venture Scooters without prior consent, all transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser.
Warranty Exclusions
BATTERIES : Battery manufacturers provide a 6 month limited warranty on all mobility scooter & Lithium batteries.
At Venture Scooters we work closely with our suppliers to offer a 12 month limited warranty on batteries. This is at Venture Scooters sole discretion & will not cover misuse, incorrect charging, extended periods of discharge or damage to wiring or battery covers.
- Tyres and tyre tubes (are wear items and not warranted)
- Upholstery and seating, body kits (are covered for faults but not for wear and tear)
- Repairs and/or modifications made to any part of the scooter without specific and prior consent from Venture Scooters
- Circumstances beyond the control of Venture Scooters
- Damage caused by: abuse, misuse, accident or negligence, improper operation, maintenance, or storage, commercial use or use other than normal
- Labour, service calls, shipping and other charges incurred for repair of the product
There is no other express warranty. Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one year from the date of original purchase and to the extent permitted by law. Any and all implied warranties are excluded, this is the exclusive remedy. Liabilities for consequential damages under any and all warranties are excluded.
Leon Cycle New Zealand Returns Policy
All our e-bikes come with 12 months warranty on all electronic parts (including battery, motor, controller, display) and also 2 year warranty on the bike frame.
Apart from manufacture defects that could be present, parts that wear due to normal use (such as tyres, brake pads, chains, etc) are not included in the warranty but maybe replaced on a case by case basis within the first 6 months.
An outgoing goods inspection is always carried out before the goods are delivered, but we recommend that you inspect the delivered goods after you recieve them. Should you notice any damage, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can discuss the next steps with you.
